Martial Arts Classes
Fledglings
This program is for children ages 4 & 5. This introduction to the martial arts focuses on the gross motor skills, learning how to learn in a fun way, and basic self-defense needed for martial arts success as a child grows. This program reinforces focus, respect, integrity, confidence, and self-control. Fledglings also have the opportunity to compete in some tournaments.
Dragons
This program is for children ages 6 to 8 years old. This program is a preparatory program for our Youth Combatives Program. Dragons focus on age appropriate techniques in stand up & ground fighting/self-defense. This program also reinforces respect, confidence, integrity, perseverance, self-control and courtesy. Students graduating from Dragons are very well prepared for our Youth Combatives Program! Dragons also have the opportunity to compete in tournaments.
Youth Combatives
This program is for youth ages 8 to 13. Classes are available for Beginner (white & yellow belts) and Intermediate/Advanced (orange belt & higher) students. This program focuses on self-defense, stand up & ground fighting, traditional kata, fitness and building strong young leaders. Character development includes: leadership, respect, integrity, confidence, self-control and much more. While competitions are not the focus, students in this program are very well rounded and have the opportunity to compete locally and nationally!
Adult and Teen Combatives
This program is for ages 13 to Adult. You are never too old to start. We have beginner adults in their 60’s. This program focuses on self-defense, stand up & ground fighting, traditional kata, fitness and building strong leaders in our community. While competitions are not the focus, students in this program are very well rounded and have the opportunity to compete locally and nationally!
